Mosaic Monstera Panels

These Monstera leaves are not only the perfect statement piece for any wall, but they're also proud members of the "Plants you can't kill" club.  Each Panel measures 12 inches in diameter and each have their own personalities. 

Electrified Monstera: This piece is totally one of a kind. The technique we used around the outside of the leaf is called fractal burning & It can be very dangerous, so I do not recommend trying it at home.

The piece of wood gets painted in a baking soda and water mix before two electrified prongs are pressed down to make the lightning design. The water and baking soda are used to help the electrical current run through the wood easier, but it is also why this piece has a bit of a warp in it. It wont lay flat on a table, but you wont even notice it when hanging on the wall.

Blue Beauty: This panel is directly referenced from Donni's (@blueplanetglass) blue mosntera leaf I won in her giveaway last year. It hangs in the center of my living room, so its no surprise I took inspiration from it. I wish we could have plants in every color of the rainbow, so why not make them ourselves. 

Glittering Green: I couldn't leave this part of the collection without a little bit of glitter. While not all of the glass used was true aventurine, the vast majority of it is and when the sun hits it, game over, you're mesmerized. 

Disco Leaf: Need I say more? When the sun hits this piece (at any angle) it throws the most amazing reflections so make sure to hang it in a spot that will get some crossover sun throughout the day. 

Each panel features a hand laid stained glass mosaic in their respective themes and each are backed with burlap and have a hemp cord hangers.

Glass pieces have been upcycled from other artists in the stained glass community gracious enough to send them my direction. Some pieces have been purchased from retailers, but out of the scrap piles.
